Letters to That Girl: Life Lessons for Millennials

I’ve decided that I’m going to write a series of letters based on past lessons I’ve learned along with some in community with others. So get ready for a series of “Letters to That Girl”.

That girl in her 20’s and 30’s. Learning some tough and needed life lessons along the way. About work culture, wellness, friendship and the journey (for some) of becoming a parent.

So who is that girl? That girl is THE girl. The girl who seems to have it all together in the group. The girl who always has a smile on her face, the life of the party, the one that every one thinks is super spoiled and privileged because they have opportunities that seem to fly their way.

The reality of that girl? That girl is crying alone, that girl is hiding her pain. That girl? Thinks that her emotions are “too much” for others to handle. That girl is afraid that if she is truly honest about her life and what she experiences, people will judge her and leave.

And that girl will learn with time that there is no greater strength than being vulnerable.

Let me know if you like this series and want more. Letter #1 is on the way!
